Our 16-week online term blends rigorous academic standards with modern digital delivery to ensure every student remains engaged and empowered. Through structured asynchronous learning, students complete a variety of tasks including readings, discussions, assignments, and projects—all accessible via our secure learning platform. Once registered, students receive a personalized login that enables access to their unique dashboard within the Learning Management System. This digital space facilitates continuous interaction between students and faculty, ensuring the online experience is just as enriching as traditional classroom learning.

Stride University’s Online Term

Stride University’s online term runs for sixteen (16) weeks and includes multiple hours of asynchronous instruction each week. Students participate in discussion forums, complete assigned readings, engage in projects, and submit assignments through the university’s digital platform.

Technology Requirements

Once registered, students need only a personal computer with internet access to begin. A unique username and password are assigned to access their individual pages within the Learning Management System.

Students are expected to interact regularly with their instructors and the academic community. While offering flexibility in time and location, the academic outcomes are maintained at the same or higher standard as traditional formats.

Stride University uses BigLearningBox, a virtual classroom environment designed to be intuitive, engaging, and effective. Course Content

Upon logging in, students can access a variety of educational tools, including documents, videos, and links relevant to their course. The Documents & Links tab hosts the syllabus, lectures, media, and learning resources. Students follow their syllabus to plan weekly activities and use the Assignments tab to track deadlines, download exams, and upload projects. Announcements help faculty communicate scheduled activities and provide direction. Students can post questions in discussion boards or contact faculty directly via email, chat, or phone as provided in the syllabus.

  • Assignments: Text submissions are reviewed, graded, and returned with instructor feedback.
  • Quizzes: Automatically corrected for instant grading.
  • Exams are delivered through the password-protected online platform.
  • Professors define timelines and retake policies in the syllabus.
  • Faculty are expected to post grades for assignments within 48 hours and final grades within 5 days.

Response Time

Faculty must respond to questions or forum posts within 24 hours, both on weekdays and weekends. Evaluations that require grading and feedback must be returned within 48 hours, including weekends.

Admission Requirements

Online Communication

Students are expected to stay in regular contact with instructors. Students can email instructors with queries or request chat sessions for further clarification. Instructors will arrange communication through chat, phone, or in-person campus meetings as applicable. Each session is followed up with a written summary sent to the student via email.

Attendance and Class Schedule

Stride University’s online campus operates year-round, except for recognized holidays listed on the academic calendar. All classes are delivered asynchronously through the Learning Management System (LMS). Students must participate in weekly chats and discussions prepared by their instructors. Attendance is mandatory and students must log in at least three times per week. Lack of participation in any registered class can result in administrative withdrawal, academic probation, or dismissal from the university.
